RFMW offers High Rejection GPS, GLONASS FEM

TST’s TN0081A High Rejection GPS, GLONASS FEM includes filters and LNARFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a front-end module (FEM) designed for GPS and GLONASS applications. TST’s TN0081A contains a high performance pre-SAW filter, low noise amplifier (LNA) and post-SAW filter providing 18.5dB of in-band gain and very high out-of-band rejection of unwanted signals. Relative to the center frequency of 1575MHz, rejection is 85dBc from 704 to 915MHz and 75dBc from 1710 to 1980MHz. Noise figure is only 1.6dB typical for 1575MHz applications and 1.7dB typical for 1597-1606MHz applications. The TN0081A draws only 3.3mA from a 1.8 to 2.8V supply and is offered in a very small 2.5×2.5mm package requiring only two external components.
