3-Stage Power Amplifier offers High-Linearity for Small Cells

RFMW announces design and sales support for a high-linearity three-stage power amplifier in a low-cost surface-mount package. The Qorvo QPA9424, with on-chip bias control and temperature control circuits, is suitable for small cell base station applications over the 2300 – 2400 MHz frequency range (band 30 and band 40). Providing 35.8 dB gain and +27 dBm linear power, the QPA9424 achieves −48.5 dBc ACLR at +27 dBm output power with 20 MHz LTE signals. Internally matched and available in a 7 x 7 mm surface mount package, this device replaces the TPQ9424.
