RFMW announces design and sales support for a surface mount, high power, termination. RN2 Technologies’ S1020N provides 50 Watt average power handling from DC to 6 GHz. Available on tape and reel for pick and place automation, this surface mount termination measures 2.54 x 5.08 mm. Operating temperature is -55 to +125 degrees C for harsh environments. High return loss of 23 dB provides an excellent match for SMT couplers or circulators. The S1020N is suited for applications in GSM, UMTS, LTE and other communication equipment up to 6 GHz requiring high power handling in a small, SMT package.
