RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for Sangshin Elecom ceramic, monoblock filters targeting avionics applications for Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B), Universal Access Transceiver (UAT) and Traffic Collision Avoidance System (TCAS). Three models typify the suite of filters dedicated to these applications. Sangshin’s MBP44RC978S05C filter is a 4-pole, 4mm resonator structure at 978MHz with a 5MHz bandwidth. Attenuation is 37dB minimum at 50MHz offset while insertion loss is 2.8dB max.
The MBP44RC1030S15C and MBP44RC1090S15C are centered at 1030MHz and 1090MHz respectively. Both have a bandwidth of 15MHz and offer 37dB minimum attenuation at 50MHz offset with insertion loss < 2.8dB. All three filters offer the same, small footprint in a 11x9x4.5mm package. Sangshin filters are quickly and easily modifiable to customer specific requirements.
