RFMW Directional Patch Antennas for Body Worn Tactical Applications

1350-1390MHz Directional Patch Antennas offer tactical concealment. Southwest Antennas 1065-031 and 1065-032RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for body worn antennas from Southwest Antennas. Model 1065-031 is a right-hand, circularly polarized (RHCP) antenna while model 1065-032 offers left-hand polarization (LHCP). Developed to offer high performance, rugged antenna options, the antenna radome housing is resistant to damage from drops, being stepped or jumped on, and other potential abuse. Both 1065-031 and 1065-032 antennas are designed for use with handheld or body worn MIMO / MANET radio systems operating from 1350 to 1390MHz. Circular polarization offers performance enhancements in multi-antenna radio configurations, crowded RF / non line-of-sight scenarios, and improved performance in adverse weather conditions providing greater radio range for law enforcement, military or civilian applications. Free-space gain is specified at 4.2 dBic. Measuring only 3.75 x 3.75 x 0.51 inches and weighing 3.4 ounces, the 1065-031 and 1065-032 feature a high performance stainless steel SMA(f) RF connector and waterproof, UV stable radome that can withstand immersion in 20-meters (65.6 ft.) of salt water for two hours if the RF connector is mated or sealed with a protective end cap. Southwest Antennas body worn products are easily secured into pouches, vests and MOLLE gear.
