RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for Southwest Antennas’ 2×2 sector antennas for MIMO / MANET radio systems. The 1055-345 is designed for Federal Law Enforcement C-Band frequencies from 4.4 to 5.0GHz. Model 1055-346 covers Federal Law Enforcement S-Band frequencies from 2.2 to 2.3GHz. Both antennas offer 10dBi minimum gain and handle RF power levels up to 50W. These 2×2 antennas offer 56 degrees of azimuth beamwidth featuring a dual polarized design with 1x 45 degree slant left and 1x 45 degree slant right. The polarization and spatial diversity provided by 45° left/right slant elements within the radome offers better RF link capability in congested RF environments and higher data/voice throughput versus standard vertically polarized antennas. Input connectors are TNC female and radomes are made of white, UV stable Kydex. Ideal for federal law enforcement, Homeland Security, and NATO users, applications include MIMO / MANET mesh radio systems, wireless infrastructure base stations, city wide and urban area mesh radio networks, emergency management and rapid deploy networks for event management and security.
