40GHz MMIC Digital Attenuator supports ATE Fading Simulation

API Weinschel 4209-31.5-1 and 4209-31.5-2 31.5dB digital attenuators span 0.1 to 40GHzRFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for the API Weinschel 4209 series of digital attenuators. Interfacing with popular, high frequency test equipment, the 4209-31.5-1 is equipped with 2.92mm Female connectors while the 4209-31.5-2 offers 2.4mm Female connectors. Both the 4209-31.5-1 and 4209-31.5-2 provide 31.5dB of attenuation range in 0.5dB steps and operate from 100MHz to 40GHz. MMIC technology offers repeatable performance for uninterrupted RF when changing attenuation values. These units can be controlled using parallel (TTL compatible), I2C, SPI, UART, or USB interfaces making them ideal for ATE systems simulating RF fading for 2G/3G/4G LTE and 5G in MIMO, WiMAX and WiFi system design.
