50 GHz Frequency Doubler allows Flat Loss

The Keysight HMMC-5645 frequency doubler multiplies input frequencies from 10 to 20 GHz to provide 20 to 40 GHz output frequencies.

RFMW announces design and sales support for a mmWave frequency doubler from Keysight. The HMMC-5645 multiplies input frequencies from 10 to 20 GHz to provide 20 to 40 GHz output frequencies and is usable to 50 GHz. The circuit is a full wave rectifier, using diodes and a balun. Double diode junctions are used to increase power handling with access to diode bias such that the conversion loss can be made relatively flat over about a 20 dB input power range. Available in DIE format.
