What made you select the Frontier Electronics MCS series as a featured product line? What value and differentiation does this product family offer?
Frontier Electronics offers the MCS series of molded SMD high current power inductors, which are magnetically shielded and come in three package sizes:
- MCS0420: Measures 4×4.45×1.8 mm, with an inductance range of 0.47 μH to 6.8 μH and a rated current range of 2A to 7A.
- MCS0630: Measures 6.6×7.3×3 mm, featuring an inductance range of 0.22 μH to 22 μH and a current range of 2A to 23A.
- MCS1040: The largest size, measuring 10×11.15×4 mm, offering an inductance range of 0.22 μH to 47 μH and a current range of 3.3A to 35A.
These inductors have standard tolerances of ±20% (M) and ±30% (N), with custom values available upon request.
In addition to their standard product offerings, which are known for competitive pricing, short lead times, and high quality, Frontier Electronics provides custom solutions such as differential inductors, common mode chokes, power factor chokes, and switching transformers. These custom solutions can support applications ranging from less than 100W to more than 10kW.
A broad selection of Frontier Electronics MCS products are available on the RFMW website.
