We spoke with Katie Agostinelli from Spectrum Control at IMS2024 about their new Powerfilm Chip Attenuator Designer Kit. The kit contains samples from 13 different attenuation values for both the PCAAW and PCAAF family series from Spectrum Control, making it easier to test out and select the best component for each design.

This series features Powerfilm chip attenuators with a frequency range up to DC-18 GHz and attenuation levels from 0 to 20 dB. PCAAF-Series
This series features Powerfilm chip attenuators with a frequency range up to DC-8 GHz frequency range and attenuation levels from 0 to 20 dB. This surface-mount resistive component has wrap around terminal and ground, AIN substrate, and thin resistor film. Components ideal for wireless Tx/Rx modules, amplifier circuits, integrated microwave systems and switching networks.
