In this video Tobi Hambach from RFMW speaks with Greg Clark, Director of defense and aerospace markets at Qorvo, at IMS2025. First, the discuss the QPF5001, an X-band transmit and receive module designed for phased array radar applications that delivers approximately 12 watts of saturated power. Next, Greg highlights new Qorvo product announcements at IMS, including two S-band switch filter banks: the QPB1036 and QPB1034. These components are engineered for radar receive systems and feature low insertion loss, fast switching speeds, and compact 6 by 6 mm packaging. Viewers are encouraged to contact RFMW or Qorvo directly for more information or sample requests.

QPF5001: 8–12 GHz 12 Watt Transmit/Receive Module Qorvo’s QPF5001 is a compact front-end module optimized for 8–12 GHz X-Band radar and communication systems. It integrates a limiter, low-noise amplifier, and power amplifier in a 6 × 5 mm surface-mount package. The PA delivers 41.5 dBm saturated output with 45% PAE, and the receiver chain achieves a 1.5 dB noise figure. Designed to interface with a circulator, the QPF5001 is well suited for both commercial and defense applications.
New S-Band Filter Bank Modules
The Qorvo QPB1034 and QPB1036 are compact S-band switched filter bank modules covering 2.7-3.1 GHz and 2.9-3.5 GHz respectively, designed specifically for radar and D&A systems. They integrate four high-rejection BAW filters with a bypass path and dual internal switches, all within a 6 × 6 mm surface-mount package. Offering low insertion loss, no external matching, and single-ended operation, each delivers high performance in space-constrained, mission-critical environments. RoHS compliant and Pb-free for modern system integration.
