RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for high gain, high linearity power amplifiers designed for ‘Small Cell’ applications. The Skyworks SKY66185-11 provides 38dB of gain for LTE radios operating in the 851 to 894MHz frequency range (B5, B6, B18, B19, B26, B27). Designed for high linearity at elevated temperatures, the SKY66185-11 supports outdoor applications where ambient temperatures range from -40 to +85 degrees C. Typical ACLR performance is -50dBc at 23dBm. Skyworks provides an enable pin to provide for fast switching in LTE TDD systems which can also be used to power down the amplifier when not in use. An integrated coupler offers power monitoring or closed loop power control. The Skyworks SKY66185-11 comes in a 5x5mm package and operates from a 3.3V supply.
