RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a GNSS LNA targeting small-form factor, low-power IoT applications. The Skyworks SKY65623-682LF is a discrete LNA optimized to operate from 1559 to 1606 MHz and designed for applications such as wearables, asset trackers, navigation devices and action cameras. Very low current consumption of 1mA increases battery life of 1.8V cell batteries. Gain is 16.5dB while noise figure is 0.85dB. Offered in a 0.8×0.8 QFN package, the SKY65623-682LF is remarkably small and requires minimal external components thereby reducing PCB space requirements.
