RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a 7-bit digital attenuator from Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (IDT). The F1958 features ultra linear IIP3 of 64dBm with 31.75dB of control range in 0.25dB steps. IDT offers this DSA for 3G, 4G and 4G+ base stations, Distributed Antenna Systems, Remote Radio Heads and other applications within its 1 to 6000MHz frequency range. Glitch-Free technology minimizes transient switching overshoot to protect power amplifiers or ADC during transitions between attenuation states. Settling time is ~1.2uSec utilizing serial or parallel control interfaces. Operating from a 3.3 or 5V supply, the F1958 is housed in a 3x3mm SMT package.
