Symmetry and RFMW Team up to Promote and Support Decawave Customers and Applications

For example, Qorvo recently completed the acquisition and integration of Decawave, whose primary focus and value proposition is the design and creation of Ultra Wideband (UWB) integrated circuits and modules. Decawave is a pioneer in UWB technology and a provider of UWB solutions for; Mobile, Automotive, Industrial and Consumer IoT applications, therefore aligning well with TSG’s target customers.

RFMW, headquartered in Northern California, is a specialized distributor of RF and Microwave components with a highly experienced, technically skilled team to assist customers with component selection and fulfillment. RFMW is a long-time franchised distributor of Qorvo products and now has responsibility for supporting the Qorvo/Decawave device portfolio.

Symmetry Electronics, headquartered in Southern California, specializes in the wireless, cellular and video side of integrated modules along with the expanding world of IoT. A long-time, franchised Decawave distributor, Symmetry employs Applications Engineers with responsibility for helping customers integrate wireless technologies into end products.

Together, RFMW and Symmetry service customers wishing to integrate UWB capability into their products. Customers showing interest will be directed to the entity best suited to support their design. If customers don’t have the in-house expertise to add wireless communication and IoT capability to their designs, Connected Development is able to support them.

Connected Development is a leading contract design firm specializing in wireless technology and headquartered in Cary, North Carolina. The hardware and software engineers of Connected Development do complete product design through proof of concept, including testing and certification, for many well-known OEMs who wish to add intelligence and wireless communication capability to their end products. Their work includes hardware design, component selection, antenna design, sensor networking and firmware development. Their lab includes a test chamber with which they test to multiple wireless carriers’ protocols ensuring that the customers’ devices pass carrier certification.
