RFMW announces design and sales support for a high linearity, low-threshold, dual PIN limiter diode module. The Skyworks SKY16603-632LF integrates dual PIN limiter diodes and DC blocking caps into a module for protecting RF receivers in the 0.6 to 6 GHz frequency range. It has a low, small-signal insertion loss with a typical limiting threshold of +8 dBm. The SKY16603-632LF is capable of 35 dBm maximum saturated CW input power and a 1 ns recovery time. Targeted for cellular infrastructure base station, repeater, and wireless backhaul OEMs, it can also be used in broad market wireless systems including VSAT, S-band radar, military communications transceivers, jammers, GPS, test instruments, automotive and Wi-Fi applications.
