RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for the API Weinschel 7006-1 DC Block. The 7006-1 is an ‘inside’ DC block containing capacitance in-series with the center conductor to prevent the flow of DC current while permitting RF power to flow uninterrupted. The 7006-1 passes RF from 9kHz to 20GHz with an SWR of 1.3:1. API Weinschel rates the power handling at 20W average and 100W peak. Maximum DC voltage is 50V. The SMA male, SMA female and component body are stainless steel for rugged use. Applications include DC isolation in systems where DC current incident on an RF transmission…
RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a two-stage linear amplifier from Qorvo. The Qorvo TQP9109 offers 30dB of gain in a compact, 4x4mm QFN package. Operating from 1.8 to 2.7GHz, OIP3 is 46dBm with P1dB rated at 27.5dBm. Integrated inter-stage matching allows design flexibility. Targeted to BTS transceivers and repeater applications, the TQP9109 operates from a 5V supply and draws 225mA. The TQP9109 is pin compatible with Qorvo’s TQP9113 (1W) and TQP9111 (2W) linear amplifiers.
RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a UHF, power LDMOS transistor designed for asymmetrical Doherty transmitters. The Ampleon BLF888E operates from 470 to 790 MHz serving broadcast applications such as DVB-T (8k OFDM). The BLF888E provides 150 watts of average power in this application with up to 17dB of gain and 52% efficiency. Ampleon’s high efficiency helps reduce the end product’s energy consumption profile. The BLF888E provides a typical 120 MHz bandwidth per sub-band, almost 3X the industry norm for similar applications. Operating from a 50V supply, the BLF888E has integrated ESD protection aiding its excellent reliability. This…
RFMW Rocked the IMS2016 Exhibition in San Franciso, May 22-27 with its first ever Micro App Presentations and continued to Roll with its 13th Birthday Party presenting “X-Band” at the iconic Fillmore. Becoming an annual event, RFMW stages a supplier party, but this year we’re still hearing about the positive rumble that was made on May 25th when the X-Band took the stage at San Francisco’s The Fillmore. The X-band features a variety of musical talent from the RF industry and RFMW’s Supplier base who play together only once a year. Performances are always incredible and a concert at the…
6/30/2016 – San Jose, California: RFMW Ltd. and Ampleon announce the extension of their distribution relationship. Ampleon is the RF Power Business Unit that was recently spun-off from NXP Semiconductors. Under the agreement, RFMW will extend their franchise agreement to EMEA including Israel for the entire RF Power business activity, including sales and support of the complete line-up of Ampleon’s LDMOS and GaN RF Power products. The agreement was signed during the successful IMS2016 Exhibition which took place at the end of May in San Francisco. This was the first major event where Ampleon presented itself as an independent company…
RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a 0.7 – 4.0GHz, digital variable gain amplifier (DVGA) with shutdown function compatible with TDD and FDD applications. The Qorvo TQC9307 provides 13.3dB of gain and up to 40.5dBm of OIP3. Servicing Band 42, the TQC9307 is used in base station receivers, pico cells, macro cells and distributed antenna systems (DAS). No other DVGA solutions in the market provide similar OIP3 and gain at 3.5GHz. Shutdown is controlled via 1.8V TTL logic. The TQC9307 is offered in a 5x5mm package and draws 120mA from a 5V supply.
RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for the Qorvo 885075 BAW filter featuring LowDrift technology. LowDrift BAW filters have dramatically reduced temperature sensitivity resulting in improved insertion loss, longer battery life, and fewer service interruptions in final designs. The Qorvo 885075 is highly selective for B40 applications from 2300-2400MHz and offers excellent W-Fi rejection. Insertion loss is 3dB and Wi-Fi attenuation is specified at 34dB. Operating over a temperature range of -20 to 85 degrees C, the 885075 is offered in a 1.1 x 0.9mm SMT package.
RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a dual, low noise amplifier (LNA) from Qorvo.
