RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for Peregrine Semiconductor’s 2-bit, fast-switching digital step attenuator (DSA). The PE43205 offers 29nS switching time when transitioning between 6, 12 or 18dB of attenuation. Simple, coarse attenuation is a great benefit for robust receiver gain control designs. Specified from 35MHz to 6GHz, the PE43205 offers IIP3 of 61dBm for highly linear, wide dynamic range circuits. In addition, the Peregrine PE43205 offers an extended temperature range of +105 degrees C to support passive/convection cooling in wireless infrastructure, small cell and land mobile radio applications. The Peregrine PE43205 is packaged as a 3x3mm QFN.
