RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for the Qorvo QPA3230, a 45 – 1218MHz GaAs/GaN power doubler hybrid used in DOCSIS 3.1 CATV systems. Combining GaAs and GaN offers a hybrid with excellent linearity along with the reliability and power efficiency of GaN technology. The QPA3230 provides up to 22.5dB of gain at 1218MHz. CSO is rated at -76dBc while CTB is rated at -73dBc. DC current can be externally adjusted for best circuit performance with a maximum current draw of 470mA from a 24V supply. The QPA3230 is offered in industry standard SOT115J packaging for compatibility with existing layouts. For higher gain requirements, Qorvo offers the QPA3240.
