RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for Peregrine Semiconductor’s PE41901 mixer. The PE41901 is a MMIC, image reject mixer solution based on Peregrine’s UltraCMOS technology. Incorporating two mixers, an LO path 90 degree coupler and RF port baluns, the PE41901 offers up to 38dB LO-RF isolation for reduced filtering requirements. Ideal for RF applications in the 10 to 19GHz frequency range, a high image reject value of 25dB serves high performance Point-to-Point radio, VSAT and Test &Measurement designs. A wide LO input level is rated from 10 to 20dBm. In addition to the high reliability inherent in UltraCMOS, this MMIC is rated at a maximum operating temperature of +105 degrees C, much higher than typical GaAs devices. Peregrine offers this mixer in a 4x4mm QFN package.
