RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a broadband amplifier designed to support electronic warfare, defense communications and L-Band radar. The Qorvo TGA2976-SM provides 10W of saturated power with an input power of 0.5W. While large signal gain is 13dB, small signal gain is >20dB. Supporting applications in frequencies from 100 to 3000MHz, the TGA2976-SM requires a 40V bias with 360mA of current and provides a power added efficiency (PAE) of >48%. Qorvo packages this device in a plastic 4x4mm, air cavity, leadless SMT.
