RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a 9 – 10GHz, 20 watt, GaN amplifier targeted towards weather and marine radar applications. Qorvo’s TGA2624-SM provides a saturated output power of 43dBm with 18dBm input. Power added efficiency is >40% and large signal gain is 25dB. For non-saturated applications, small signal gain is >34dB. The TGA2624-SM requires a 28V bias capable of 365mA and comes in a 7x7mm air-cavity QFN package.
