RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a front-end module (FEM) designed for GNSS applications including GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo. TST’s TN0089A contains a high-performance pre-SAW filter and low noise amplifier providing 15.5dB of in-band gain and very high out-of-band rejection of unwanted signals. Relative to the center frequency of 1575MHz, rejection is 52dBc from 704 to 915MHz and 43dBc from 1710 to 1980MHz. Noise figure is only 1.5dB typical for 1575MHz applications and 1.7dB typical for 1597-1606MHz applications. The TN0089A draws only 3.6mA from a 1.8 to 2.8V supply and is offered in a very small 1.5×1.1mm package requiring only two external components.
