RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for an integrated Edge QAM amplifier module from Qorvo. The RFAM3620 employs GaAs pHEMT die, GaAs MESFET die, a 20 dB range variable attenuator and a power enable feature. Offering 36dB minimum gain, the RFAM3620 serves head end equipment, downstream RF modulators, DOCSIS 3.1 nodes, system amplifiers and line extenders from 45 to 1218MHz. Powered from a 12V supply, it draws 510mA. With superior return loss performance (15dB) and low noise figure (3dB), it’s offered in a 11x11mm package.
