RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a xPON Video Receiver with Integrated VCA. With a frequency span of 45 to 1218 MHz, Qorvo’s QPB9010 serves applications in xPON RF overlay video receivers for FTTX triplexer-equipped optical network terminations (ONT) and RFoG network interface units (NIU). The integrated voltage controlled attenuator (25 dB range), along with external control circuitry, provides AGC to maintain a constant +19 to +23 dBmV / channel output to ensure consistent video quality. Operating from a 12 VDC supply, power consumption is only 1.5W. The QPB9010 is offered in an 11 x 11 mm package.
