500W Transistor supports Commercial and Consumer Cooking

Ampleon BLC2425M10LS500P, 32 V LDMOS power transistor with 500 W for pulsed and CW applications 2400 to 2500 MHz. RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a high power transistor from Ampleon. The BLC2425M10LS500P is a 32 Volt LDMOS power transistor for use in commercial and consumer cooking, industrial, scientific and medical applications at frequencies from 2400 to 2500 MHz. With 500 W for pulsed and CW applications, the BLC2425M10LS500P has an excellent high power to footprint ratio, housed in a single SOT1250, air-cavity, plastic package. Drain efficiency is 67% with 15 dB gain. Thermal resistance of the package is 0.17 K/W. Combined, this high efficiency minimizes cooling required in the end application and ensures both low energy consumption and low operating costs. Matched on both input and output, this power transistor is able to operate with a 20:1 VSWR load mismatch, through all phases, without damage.
