RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a low noise CATV amplifier. The Qorvo QPB8858 push-pull RF IC amplifier is ideal for DOCSIS 3.1 applications from 47 to 1218 MHz using a single 24 V supply. The QPB8858 offers low noise and low distortion at high efficiency consuming only 7W in a 5×7 QFN package. Providing 34 dB gain at 1218 MHz with a CTB of -75 dBc and CSO of -70 dBc, Noise Figure is 4 dB. Applications include broadband CATV hybrid modules, DOCSIS 3.1 amplifiers and head-end CMTS equipment.
