5 GHz BAW Filters solve WiFi Coexistence

Akoustis AKF-1252 WiFi coexistence filter protects 5.2GHz U-NII 1 plus 2A bands from U-NII 2C and 3 band interference. RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a WiFi coexistence filter from Akoustis. The AKF-1252 utilizes Akoustis’ patented, XBAW technology with low insertion loss for high performance, 5.2GHz WiFi applications covering U-NII 1 plus 2A bands. Meeting the stringent rejection requirements enabling coexistence with U-NII 2C and 3, this ultra-small, passband BAW filters measures 2 x 2.5 x 0.9 mm. Exhibiting high-power handling of up to 30 dBm, the AKF-1252 supports the latest WiFi standards for tri-band routers and access points, LTE/LAA small cells and other 5 GHz WiFi designs. Standard laminate packaging is compatible with high volume, lead-free SMT soldering processes.
