RFMW announces design and sales support for a high power amplifier with excellent efficiency and gain. Offering 60 Watts of saturated power for 2.8 to 3.5 GHz radar systems, the QPA1027 amplifier from Qorvo provides a small signal gain of 22 dB. Designed for 50V operation, the QPA1027 power-added efficiency is 55%. GaN on SiC technology and a robust 6 x 6 mm QFN package provides the small size needed for high density, S-band radar systems.
