RFMW announces design and sales support for a Qorvo GaN power amplifier. The Qorvo QPA1022 spans 8.5 to 11 GHz with 36.5 dBm of Psat output power. Offered in a 4 x 4 mm QFN package, it provides exceptional efficiency of 45% PAE and is an ideal component to support phased array radar applications, EW and commercial communication systems. Small signal gain is up to 32 dB while power gain is 24.5 dB. Biased from a 22 volt supply, the QPA1022 offers the advantages of GaN performance and includes integrated blocking capacitors and built-in power detector.
