RFMW announces design and sales support for a high frequency, GaN, power amplifier from Qorvo. The Qorvo QPA2211D offers 5 Watts of linear power at 25 dBc IMD3 with small signal gain of 26 dB. This linear power and high gain are ideal for mmWave 5G infrastructure radios operating within 27 to 31 GHz as well as Ka-Band satellite communication systems. The QPA2211D has a saturated output power of 14 Watts and is fully matched to 50 ohms with integrated DC blocking caps on both I/O ports to simplify system integration. Drawing 280 mA from a 22 V supply, this PA is offered in a 2.74 x 2.552 mm DIE. All devices are 100% DC and RF tested on-wafer to ensure compliance to electrical specifications.
