The Qorvo QPB0066 digital controlled variable gain amplifier features high linearity from 5 to 500 MHz and 63 dB of control range

RFMW announces design and sales support for a digital controlled variable gain amplifier from Qorvo. The QPB0066 features high linearity over the entire gain control range with typical noise figure of 4.3 dB in its maximum gain state. Dual 6-bit digital step attenuators are programmed with a 12-bit Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) offering 63 dB of control range in 0.5 dB steps and a maximum gain of 44 dB. Ideal for CATV return paths operating from 5 to 500 MHz, the QPB0066 is packaged in a small 6.0 mm x 6.0 mm leadless laminate MCM which contains plated through thermal vias for ultralow thermal resistance. The module is easy to use with a few external DC blocks and RF chokes.
