37 to 40.5 GHz GaN Front End Module

RFMW announces design and sales support for high-performance, mmWave, 5G front end modules from Qorvo. The QPF4006 MMIC mmWave FEM operates from 37.0 to 40.5 GHz with integrated LNA+TR SW+PA. The receive path (LNA+TR SW) is designed to provide 18 dB of gain and a typical noise figure of <4.2 dB. The transmit path (PA+SW) provides 23 dB of small signal gain and a saturated output power of 33 dBm. Supporting 5GNR communications, the frequency coverage and operational flexibility allow support of point-to-point communications and 5G repeaters. Typical Tx EVM at 24 dBm Pout is 4%. The QPF4006 is offered in a small 4.5 x 4 mm surface mount package with embedded copper slug allowing operation at the extreme case temperatures needed in phased array applications.
