The AKF-1336 XBAW filter from Akoustis is the smallest filter available on the market designed specifically to support the the U.S. Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) band.
2. What are the key features/specifications of this product?
The AKF-1336 is utilizes unique XBAW technology that enables performance in a small form factor. This means that alternative filters are considerably larger than the AKF-1336. At a center frequency of 3.6 GHz, the AKF-1336 is capable of handling up to 30 dBm of RF input power with 150 MHz passband.
3. What are common/typical markets and applications?
There is a lot if interest in the use of the recently allocated CBRS band for commercial communication applications including 5G, as the band offers a cost effective way of deploying additional network capacity.
