RFMW Rocked the IMS2016 Exhibition in San Franciso, May 22-27 with its first ever Micro App Presentations and continued to Roll with its 13th Birthday Party presenting “X-Band” at the iconic Fillmore. Becoming an annual event, RFMW stages a supplier party, but this year we’re still hearing about the positive rumble that was made on May 25th when the X-Band took the stage at San Francisco’s The Fillmore. The X-band features a variety of musical talent from the RF industry and RFMW’s Supplier base who play together only once a year. Performances are always incredible and a concert at the…
6/30/2016 – San Jose, California: RFMW Ltd. and Ampleon announce the extension of their distribution relationship. Ampleon is the RF Power Business Unit that was recently spun-off from NXP Semiconductors. Under the agreement, RFMW will extend their franchise agreement to EMEA including Israel for the entire RF Power business activity, including sales and support of the complete line-up of Ampleon’s LDMOS and GaN RF Power products. The agreement was signed during the successful IMS2016 Exhibition which took place at the end of May in San Francisco. This was the first major event where Ampleon presented itself as an independent company…
RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a 0.7 – 4.0GHz, digital variable gain amplifier (DVGA) with shutdown function compatible with TDD and FDD applications. The Qorvo TQC9307 provides 13.3dB of gain and up to 40.5dBm of OIP3. Servicing Band 42, the TQC9307 is used in base station receivers, pico cells, macro cells and distributed antenna systems (DAS). No other DVGA solutions in the market provide similar OIP3 and gain at 3.5GHz. Shutdown is controlled via 1.8V TTL logic. The TQC9307 is offered in a 5x5mm package and draws 120mA from a 5V supply.
RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for the Qorvo 885075 BAW filter featuring LowDrift technology. LowDrift BAW filters have dramatically reduced temperature sensitivity resulting in improved insertion loss, longer battery life, and fewer service interruptions in final designs. The Qorvo 885075 is highly selective for B40 applications from 2300-2400MHz and offers excellent W-Fi rejection. Insertion loss is 3dB and Wi-Fi attenuation is specified at 34dB. Operating over a temperature range of -20 to 85 degrees C, the 885075 is offered in a 1.1 x 0.9mm SMT package.
RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a dual, low noise amplifier (LNA) from Qorvo. The TQL9066 incorporates two, matched, E-pHEMT LNAs enabling balanced amplifier configurations with noise figure rated at 0.6dB. Applicable for the first stage in receivers, the Qorvo TQL9066 finds homes in BTS transceivers, L-Band radios and tower mounted amplifiers operating from 0.05 to 1.5GHz. The Qorvo dual LNA offers shutdown capability important to TDD systems and high gain (>18dB) for improved receive performance. The TQL9066 draws only 55mA from a 4.35V supply and is housed in a 4x4mm package.
RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a series of 6GHz attenuators with electrically equivalent group delay. The P1AT-SAMF-6G2W series attenuators from P1dB, Inc. offer a cost effective solution for amplitude balancing parallel signals of varying RF power. Attenuation values range from 0 to 10 dB in 1dB steps along with values of 12, 15, 20, 30 and 40 dB.
