3-stage GaN Amplifier Offers 35W at Ku-band

Qorvo TGA2239 3-stage GaN Amplifier Offers 35W at Ku-bandRFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for the Qorvo TGA2239 high power MMIC amplifier offering 35W of saturated output power for Ku-band applications. The Qorvo TGA2239 operates over 13-15.5GHz with power added efficiency of >32% and small signal gain of 29.5dB. Processed using GaN on SiC technology, the TGA2239 draws 900mA from a 22V supply. Offered as a 5.00×6.65mm chip, the TGA2239 is also available in a bolt-down package as the TGA2239-CP. Applications include Radar, data links and satellite communications.
