The Qorvo RFPD3210 and RFPD3220 are both offered in a CATV standard SOT-115J package.
RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for API Technologies phase shifters designed for applications in optical communication systems. The precision adjustments on the OPS-0002 phase shifter allow enhanced resolution and accuracy setting. To serve this market, the API OPS-0002 is offered with precision 2.4mm female connectors and operates up to 50GHz. Minimum phase shift is specified at 40 degrees/GHz. To achieve the best accuracy, the micrometer adjustment allows for 28 turns. Each turn provides a minimum of 4 pico-seconds time delay. The API OPS-0002 is available from RFMW stock.
RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for two new power amplifier modules supporting 5GHz Wi-Fi enabled CPEs, routers, pico cells and femto cells. The Qorvo RFPA5522 supports applications from 5.18 to 5.925GHz with bias configurable to 5V or 3.3V operation. The Qorvo RFPA5542 extends operation from 4.9 to 5.925GHz and is optimized for the least number of external components on compatible reference designs. Both PA modules offer 33dB of gain from three stages of internal amplification and integrate an internal regulator. The RFPA5522 and RFPA5542 dynamic EVM power output is 23dBm at 5V in 802.11ac applications and measures 1.8%.…
RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for API Technologies’ 305W single channel rotary joint. The API rotary joint is used to transmit RF energy from a stationary RF source to a rotating RF line and finds applications in military and commercial markets such as mobile satellite communication systems, radar systems including civil air traffic control and weather radars. The 305W operates from DC to 12.4GHz through type N coaxial connectors. VSWR is as low as 1.15:1. Rotary joints have inherently low insertion loss as evidenced by the 305W with loss ranging from <0.2dB below 6GHz to <0.3dB below 12.4GHz.…
RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for the Qorvo TGA2227, a 2-22GHz low noise amplifier fabricated on Qorvo’s TQGaN15 GaN on SiC process. GaN on SiC offers high input power survivability of 40dBm, potentially eliminating the need for a power limiter in broadband communications, EW, instrumentation or Radar applications. The Qorvo TGA2227 can also be used as a driver with >15dB of small signal gain or a general amplifier with >20dBm P1dB. With a nominal drain voltage of 8V, the TGA2227 can be biased over a wide range of voltages with little impact on noise figure and gain; thus…
