RFMW, Ltd. is now a distributor member in the Electronic Components Industry Association (ECIA). ECIA serves as the platform to influence policies that directly impact the efficiency of the supply chain and the future of electronics. As such, one of the criteria for distributor membership is that 100% of the applicant’s published line card(s) must list lines for which the distributor is contractually authorized. This ensures that customers receive authentic, OEM components from suppliers. RFMW is ISO 9001:2008 certified and as part of our due diligence with our supplier base, each supplier is investigated for counterfeit property policies and procedures.…

RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for 90° sector antenna operating over the 2.2 – 2.5 GHz, S-Band. Southwest Antennas model 1009-024 has 15 dBi gain to support 4×4 MIMO applications with a slant polarized design ((2x) 45 degrees slant left and (2x) 45 degrees slant right). The 1009-024 rugged construction and UV stable housing makes this antenna suitable for outdoor use in harsh environments. Elevation angle downtilt can be adjusted between 0 and -15 degrees with the included pole mounting kit. It comes with Type-N female connectors and integrated RF filters are optional.
RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for the Qorvo RFPD3540, a 45 – 1218MHz GaAs/GaN power doubler hybrid used in DOCSIS 3.1 CATV systems. Combining GaAs and GaN offers a hybrid with excellent linearity along with the reliability and power efficiency of GaN technology. The RFPD3540 provides up to 27dB of gain at 1218MHz. CSO and CTB are rated at -80dBc. DC current can be externally adjusted for best circuit performance with a maximum current draw of 420mA from a 24V supply. Offered in industry standard SOT115J packaging for compatibility with existing layouts.
RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a high linearity gain block from Qorvo. Featuring >-75dBc CSO, the RFCA8830 covers 45 to 1218MHz as a DOCSIS 3.1 compliant amplifier for HFC optical nodes, laser drivers and balanced antenna applications. Gain measures 19dB and noise figure is <2dB. Operating from 5V, the RFCA8830 is packaged as an SOIC8.
RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a DPDT antenna switch from Skyworks. The SKY13698-694LF offers insertion loss of only 0.27dB over the wide frequency range of 400 to 5900MHz supporting emerging, high band applications such as LAA/LTE-U and sub-6 GHz. Port to port isolation is 30dB. No external DC blocking capacitors are required on the RF path as long as no DC voltage is applied externally. The SKY13698-694LF DPDT switch is provided in a compact Quad Flat No-Lead (QFN) 1.83 × 1.83 × 0.5 mm package.
RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a Band 1 BAW duplexer filter. The Qorvo QPQ1282 supports Band 1 LTE, small cells, mobile routers and repeater designs with uplink pass band frequencies from 1920 to 1980MHz and downlink pass band frequencies from 2110 to 2170MHz. No external matching is necessary and the QPQ1282 offers 48dB attenuation between bands. Power handling is 29dBm.
RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a DOCSIS 3.1 compliant amplifier from Qorvo. Gain, return loss and bias are externally adjustable on the Qorvo QPB7400. Matched to 75 ohms, this adjustable gain amplifier operates from 45 to 1218MHz and has on-chip active bias for consistent and repeatable performance over temperature. The QPB7400 finds applications in single-ended and push-pull optical receivers, low-noise drop amplifiers and distribution amplifiers. Drawing 105mA from a 5V bias, typical gain in application circuits is 10.5dB. Qorvo offers this amplifier in a SOT89 package.
