Telemakus LLC has announced a price reduction of their model TEP8000-6, digital phase shifter. This USB controlled device offers 360 degrees minimum phase range with 12-bit, 0.25dB resolution over the frequency range of 4-8GHz. Maximum RF input for linear operation is +10dBm. Typical insertion loss through the TEP8000-6 is only 5dB. When coupled with the Telemakus TEA8000-6 USB controlled RF attenuator, a gain and phase control system can be created. Applications include phased array antenna testing. Weighing less than an ounce each, Telemakus test devices represent the latest technology in low cost, transportable test equipment. Each unit’s graphical user interface (GUI) is resident in on-board Flash memory making them “plug and play” for Window’s based PCs.
With the TEP8000-6 price reduction, Telemakus continues to offer the lowest cost USB controlled test devices currently available.
