RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a 6GHz GaN SPDT switch supporting commercial and military Radar, communications, EW, and general purpose applications handling pulsed power levels up to 100W. The TGS2355-SM from TriQuint is packaged as a 5x5mm, air cavity QFN. Also available in DIE for hybrid applications, the TGS2355 offers similar performance. TGS2355-SM insertion loss is <1.1dB yet typical isolation is >40dB. Switching speed for both the TGS2355-SM and TGS2355 is in the order of 50nS. Both switches are built on TriQuint’s proven TQGaN25 technology.
