RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for two Skyworks, Inc. low-noise amplifiers, front end modules (LNA FEM) with integrated pre-filtering. The SKY65713-11 supports 1559 to 1606MHz global positioning systems including BDS, GPS and GNSS with 16.5dB of gain and 1.6dB noise figure while the SKY65715-81 offers 18dB of gain and 0.65dB NF. Both devices run off 1.62 to 3.0V and draw 4mA allowing operation in IoT and asset tracking applications. Pre-filtering improves receiver sensitivity aiding in better first fix times and reducing power consumption in jammer rich environments. Offered in industry standard footprints compatible with major GPS receiver chips, the SKY65713-11 measures 1.1×1.5mm and the SKY65715-81 measures 1.7×2.3mm.
