RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a surface mount GaN power amplifier from Qorvo. The Qorvo TGA2830-SM offers 18W of saturated output power from 2.7 to 3.5GHz. Small signal gain is >30.5dB and input return loss is rated at >11dB. The TGA2830-SM draws 225mA from a 20-32V bias supply with >54% power added efficiency (PAE). Serving Commercial and Military Radar, the TGA2830-SM comes in a 5x5mm, plastic QFN.
