RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for the MiniRF MRFXF0026, a 1:2.78 impedance ratio, transmission line transformer for unbalanced to balanced requirements. Covering frequencies from of 45 to 1218MHz, it’s capable of supporting DOCSIS3.1 requirements. The MRFXF0026 is designed for applications requiring low loss and where noise figure (NF) concerns are critical. Characteristic impedance is 75 ohms and insertion loss ranges from 1.6dB for return path applications to 1.3dB for downstream circuits. The MRFXF0026 has excellent amplitude and phase balance and is capable of handling a maximum 2 watts RF input. An industry standard SP8 package is RoHS compliant and available in tape and reel for applications that require very small, low cost, and highly reliable surface mount components.
