RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a Skyworks, wide dynamic range, ultra-low distortion attenuator. The SKY12239-11 offers up to 51dB of voltage-controlled, variable attenuation ideal for low frequency applications in the 10MHz to 1.5GHz range such as IF chains in cellular base stations and point-to-point radios. Input IP3 is 50dBm and mid-band insertion loss is 2.5dB. No external components needed for implementation into a circuit. Control voltage range is 1 to 5 volts and the SKY12239-11 draws <2mA from a 2.7V supply. Offered in a 3.8×3.8mm package.
