RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a Skyworks, low energy, front end module. The SKY66403-11 is designed for range extension of ZigBee, Thread and Bluetooth Smart applications in the 2.4GHz range. Consisting of an LNA, PA, filter and switching for dual antennas, the SKY66403-11 module has a sleep mode to minimize power consumption in Internet of Things (IoT) applications. Providing 21dBm of output power and operating over a supply range of 1.8 to 3.6V, the module is suitable for coin cell battery devices, security and environmental sensors, wireless audio platforms, in-home appliances, smart thermostats and lighting systems. It comes in a small 3.5 x 3.0mm, multichip module.
