RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a high power, high isolation SPDT switch from Aethercomm. Employed in communication and electronic warfare (EW) systems where high power, low loss and excellent isolation are required, model number SSHPS 1.0-2.5-200 handles up to 200W CW RF power from 1,000 to 2,500MHz. Mid-band insertion loss is only 0.7dB while typical isolation is 48dB. Maximum current draw from a +28 Vdc supply is 750 mA. The SSHPS 1.0-2.5-200 is rated for operation over -30 to +70 degrees C and up to 15,000 feet altitude. This Aethercomm switch meets Mil Standard shock and vibration conditions with a 2 uSec maximum switching speed.
