RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for Sangshin QUBE antennas. Featuring a unique quadrifilar helix structure, the QUBE offers lighter weight than standard ceramic patch antennas (>85% reduction) for handheld RFiD reader applications. Increased bandwidth, wide beamwidth and circular polarization dramatically decrease the antennas sensitivity to surrounding signal interference sources, yielding higher performance over patch antennas. In addition, front-to-back ratio is increased for better directionality when scanning RFiD tags. Sangshin offers various size antennas to provide needed gain and allow for size constraints. Popular RFiD frequencies are addressed. For example, the KSA-891A6015B109B spans a 24MHz bandwidth from 887 to 895MHz and provides 2.5dBic of peak gain. Alternate center frequencies, bandwidths and configurations are available depending on customer specific requirements.
