RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a 5 GHz 802.11ac front-end module (FEM) from Skyworks Solutions. The SKY85716-11 integrates a 5 GHz SPDT T/R switch, a 5 GHz low-noise amplifier (LNA) with bypass, and a 5 GHz power amplifier with 30 dB of transmit gain. Offering +17.5 dBm output power (MCS7, HT20), the SKY85716-11 can be used in access points, routers and gateways where minimal board space is available. Available in a 2.3 x 2.3 mm QFN package.
