RFMW announces design and sales support for a high power, high isolation RF switch from Aethercomm. The SSHPS 0.005-0.050-500 is a symmetrical, Single-Pole, Double-Throw (SPDT) switch handling up to 500 Watts CW and 1 kW of peak RF power. Spanning 5 to 50 MHz for communication and Electronic Warfare systems, typical isolation is 50 dB with 6 to 8 uSec maximum switching speed. The SSHPS 0.005-0.050-500 draws 550mA from a +28 Vdc supply. Operating from -40°C to +70°C up to 30,000 feet altitude, this switch meets MIL-STD shock and vibration specifications under operating conditions.
