RFMW announces design and sales support for a high-power switch from Skyworks Solutions. Designed for active antenna arrays, micro and macro-cell base stations, the SKY12247-492LF integrates an SPDT switch with driver circuitry operating from a single 5V supply and using a single control voltage (0 – 3 V). As data-intensive multimedia and IoT applications continue to proliferate, cellular infrastructure solutions must become more robust to meet increasing network demands. This 100 Watt switch enables high data rates with low DC power consumption for 5G systems operating from 3.4 to 3.8 GHz. Offered in compact, 5 x 5 mm QFN packages.
